LED bulbs have very low power consumption, so on vehicles with computer-controlled bulb operation checks, flickering, malfunction, or false warnings of bulb burnout may occur despite the installed LED bulb with a CANBUS decoder. This usually prevents errors in operation on most vehicles, but not on all. On these vehicles, false messages about bulb burnout may still occur despite using an LED bulb with CANBUS. In this case, an additional intermediate CANBUS smart decoder needs to be added to the bulb.

Check the vehicle type and the headlight approval number. On the list of compatible models, check if your vehicle is listed. Important: the headlight approval number is decisive for the approval of the bulb. Data such as vehicle type and year of manufacture are intended only for faster searching. Compare the headlight approval number on the list with the number on your vehicle's headlight. It starts with "E" and one or two digits in a circle, followed by a sequence of 4 or 5 digits. If the approval numbers of your headlights match the data on the compatibility list, you can obtain a certificate for legal use in road traffic for vehicles registered in Slovenia. Make your purchase at TEHNOSHOP.NET (the Slovenian distributor of OSRAM) or at one of the authorized partners and arrange for professional installation, which is a condition for obtaining a compliance certificate with your vehicle and homologation of the LED bulb replacement.
