The Kemo FG025SET repeller or electric pasture is a complete set for a high-voltage electric fence, designed for installation on gutters, downpipes, and other outdoor paths that martens and raccoons climb to reach attics. The system operates on the principle of a bipolar electric fence and, with proper installation, generates a short high-voltage but low-current impulse that deters animals from climbing further. Animals often ascend through lower pipes and gutters into attics to nest there. The electric shock from this bipolar electric fence should effectively repel the animals. The set includes the FG025 module, mounting elements, wire, and cables, with sufficient range to cover roof drains. The device emits repeating high-frequency pulses (up to several 1000 V), but with an extremely low current, causing a deterrent yet non-lethal shock to the animals. A 12V/DC power plug is still required for operation, with an output of at least 100 mA or a 12V car battery > 12 Ah (neither is included). In both cases, a 5.5 x 2.1 mm connector is needed for the electric cable.

How does the Kemo FG025SET repeller work?

The FG025 module generates occasional high-voltage impulses that power the wire or tape run along the gutter and downpipes. When an animal touches the wire and creates a connection with the ground/metal, it experiences a short deterrent electric impulse and retreats. For reliable operation, proper wiring, good insulation, and adequate power supply are essential. Installation and safety instructions are included in the manual.
