LED bulbs have a very low power consumption, so on vehicles with computer-controlled bulb operation checks, flickering, malfunction, or false warnings of bulb burnout may occur despite the installation of an LED bulb with a CANBUS decoder. This usually prevents errors in operation on most vehicles, but not all. On these vehicles, false messages about bulb burnout may still occur despite using an LED bulb with CANBUS. In this case, it is necessary to add an additional intermediate CANBUS smart decoder to the bulb.
