Has a bulb burned out only on one side while the other side still works? We always recommend replacing bulbs in pairs! The reason is simple. LED bulbs have very low power consumption, so on vehicles with computer-controlled bulb operation checks, flickering, malfunction, or false warnings about bulb burnout may occur even with an installed LED bulb with a CANBUS decoder. This usually prevents errors on most vehicles, but not all. On these vehicles, even with the use of a CANBUS LED bulb, false messages about bulb burnout may still occur. In this case, an additional intermediate CANBUS smart decoder needs to be added to the bulb.
