The advantages of NOCO boosters are their light weight and small size, while still delivering high starting current, thanks to the special NOCO Lithium-Ion battery with top-tier characteristics.

Example: if you perform 1000 charging cycles, the battery will still retain 87% of its capacity afterwards. One cycle means discharging from 100% to 0% and charging back to 100%; if you only discharge it to 50% and recharge to 100%, that is only half a cycle. If you were to discharge the booster to 50% every day, you would reach 87% capacity only after six years. The battery also has an exceptionally low self-discharge. If you charge the booster to 100% today and do not use it for a year, after that period the battery will still be about 70% full.

With the NOCO GeniusBoost PRO GB500+ you can easily switch between 12V and 24V operation. The heavy-duty switch ensures a mechanical transfer between 12V and 24V systems. Its high-voltage design uses full copper contacts intended for maximum power transfer. It also provides physical and LED indicators to display the switch configuration.

NOCO booster GB500+ features a redesigned user interface. This provides more usable information and improved readability in low light conditions. It now has built-in temperature indicators for cold and hot temperatures that light up when they reach the upper or lower limit of the temperature range. LED lighting technology illuminates menus and buttons in poor light, including at night. It is easy to use and simple to understand.

The built-in voltmeter shows the voltage of the connected battery for improved diagnostics and troubleshooting. The battery is not always the problem. There are many reasons why your vehicle may not start. The issue could be starter problems, worn battery cables, a bad alternator, or something else. With the integrated digital voltmeter you can quickly determine whether it is a discharged battery or something else. If the battery voltmeter shows a healthy battery at 12.7-12.8V (25.4-25.6V for 24V), there is likely another issue.
